Probably not for multiplayer though.

The game itself I'm sure will be great.

My issue is with frequent multi GB patches. On top of it taking about a month for me to download.

Pre-ordered it a few days ago So could be up for playing on release day.

I have ordered it, so will give it a crack. I hope it allows for those with limited time to rank. I am hoping there will be one effective class from the get go that makes it fun for those with only an hour or so every couple of days. The previous ones left you feeling pretty naked I thought if you did not put the hours in...

Pre-ordered on CDkeys for 35 quid. Played the beta looked great on my PC

Engineer class is my favourite. I'm only a once or twice a week player but you can score not only with kills. Captures, repairs etc. Assault enables healing of others which again scores points. Support, resupply of ammo. Recon, spotting. So its not all about how fast you are at run 'n gun :-)

Pre-load is available from today. 44Gb

Did BF1 & the Premium package for a total of 80€ or so, which is a good deal for two years of gaming. But, I realized that if you only play periodically, coming back to it is a b*tch, so I'm still up in the air with this...although the alpha & beta were pretty good...

Well my pre-load is done.

Must say the map trailer is stunning..

So an email this morning telling me its now available as early access

Go to links and downloads start, despite pre-installing. Around 16.6 Gb followed by a smaller update. this is it I thought. I noticed a few others were also online, probably downloading too.

On completion, I tried to start the game. It tells me that it will be available from the 14th November at 11am GMT. its now 12:30.... Oh dear

Ah! Its 11pm GMT... Doh! So from tomorrow 15th then...

Also needs the latest video drivers too. nVidia 416.94.

There is no "Battlelog" as yet like BF4. I cant see how to search and add players. Add Zimmerframe55 if you know how to.
