Over the last while there has been a number of users that have had issues with site access. Some have said they can access via certain machines/browsers but on others they cannot. Some just cannot get on at all.

I have completed a number of tasks to try and resolve this and since testing this morning I feel that a major improvement has been made to the access. Basically, I have cleaned up the DNS register and also the method the site deals with either http://www.oghf.org.uk or oghf.org.uk. Also I have tested with many browsers (Firefox, chrome, edge etc) since the changes as wel as many different IP's and locations using VPN. For me it is a lot more robust and I saw no errors.

Finally a techy bit. Some ISP's play with the way you access the net by forcing you through their DNS servers. I do not use my providers (Plusnet) DNS, my choice is OpenDNS. I have used this for many years and I find it speeds up my internet activities. Also if you have youngsters it has a great service for restricting sites of the shady type. It lets you write your own error message. Always a laugh when they have been caught out by mum or dad. Anyway back on to DNS, also google's DNS is very good for unrestricted and speedy name resolution.

Here are the DNS IP's..

OpenDNS

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

Google

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

If you need help putting the above into your router, best to google it as there are so many different ones out there, but worth the effort in my opinion as it has improved many things for me from Netflix to Gaming.

Cheers

And if You can't set up the DNS on your Router. (Some stupid ISP may not allow you).
You can easily do it in your windows settings.

Win 7
Win 10

I have different "issue". When i log in to the site it always says that your session has expired, then after second try i usually can access successfully. Nothing major but just wanted to tell. :)
Try deleting your cookies and emptying your browser cache
