So this attack has highlighted an issue with the contract we have with the data-centre. Currently they will only mitigate an attack for an hour, after which time they just block the ports until the attack stops. This is due to the fact that our current service is their Basic package. Due to the fact that the financial support this month has bee so good. We are in a position to increase the contract by £19 a month to gain access to a constant DDOS mitigation firewall. This involves moving our gaming servers etc.
