Overgrown server

Hi mate
I think it was the way the new COD4x was made as there are quite a few discussions online about it.

And nothing in the configs (That I see anyway) that adjusts it. Even if there was I would need Flattys permission to change that bit.

Also. And this is just my personal opinion. and in no way the Clans opinion. Us mere mortal players need something on our side to help us. We are primarily a fun server and you have seen as much as I have, how the great Pro players we get on our other servers , Grill, Megakill, Aso. and others, make hay by wallbanging these spots. At least let us have one server where we can hide

There is a setting in the New Experience mod to turn on or off the ability to shoot through walls

set wallbang "0" // enable wall penetration (1=yes 0=no)

it is on "0" as default

I didn't even notice probably because I don't shoot through the walls

You need to try it sometime Wildcat as it is good for the soul

I know that it can be a pain too be wallbanged, i do it to, but i see it as a part of the game.
If i person is sitting in a window, only head is clear, and he starts shooting at a player in the open, you have to be a good shoot to take him out,
and therefor i think it is an unfair advantage, and the perk you have choosen is no good.
Ofcause it is the same for all, but still

Yep, that is the config command. I will have a closer look when i get home. i don't like going into those files too deeply on my phone. SS or CS...It will be there somewhere.
However as i said, I can't change that without Flattyy agreeing. And Im reluctant too anyway for the reasons given..Would help if there was 0-100 setting, rather than on or off. A penetration config setting. Which there might be. I just need to have a look later. You need to ask Flatty Kille though if it is to changed..

All you need is the 50 cal Barrett. Shoots through most anything (and yes, I have shot the real thing)

I dont blame you Tube, would never use a phone to alter any configs.
The config will reside in the main folder

Might try the Barrett Tass and see if it will punch a hole through the wall(in game not in real life )

I'm not up to changing anything.
Just that if it was and mistake from the start, we could undo the mistake.

Havent had much luck writing to flatty, so no need to wait for that.
Next time you run into him, you can ask.
If it was ment to be like this, just leave it like it is.

I also noticed today it really irrated a (suspect) Wallhacker. I had 1 today that left the server in frustration when he couldn't shoot through walls. I put demo in Admin section.

But will speak to Robbyy about it (config) Tuesday night.
