Yet again we have issues with the Authorization of our WAW servers via the DemonWare back end run by Activision. I am not sure how long the servers will be down, when this has happened before it has taken a couple of weeks to resolve.
In the meantime I have setup a Plutonium T4 server. This a mod that lets you run WaW servers without the DemonWare back end. The server is the same as our Activision config and is Admined via IW4Admin.

The basics of the install is as follows:-
To protect your original game, make a new directory on any drive you like on your PC, then make a copy of the contents of your original WAW game to it.
Download the plutonium.exe file from the plutonium website and place it in your new directory that contains the copy of your WaW files. Start the Plutonium.exe file, it will download a few files.
Select WAW from the menu on the side panel, the first time you do this it will ask where are your WaW files. Point it to the directory that contains you copied games files.
The game will start and in the browser you will see our server.
At the main game menu you can select "options and controls" then "Game Options" and set your field of view.
I hope this helps whilst we do not have an official game to play.

Anyone else get this error when trying to run from plutonium? tried re-installing but still the same.

Directx version not up to date was the issue for another member.

It would be amazing to play all maps 16 vs 16 (both with players and bots).

Yes a few more maps would be good e.g. Revolution and Outskirts etc. I would just love the tanks on Outskirts and Seelow. Seelow is awful with no tanks! I know Roger loves tanks!
